Redesign Google

Back in January designer Andy Rutledge took on the task of redesigning Google’s home page to make it, how shall we say, more designed. Of course, Rutledge doesn’t work for Google and we’ll never see it on Google.com–or will we? Tristan Dunn has put together a Greasemonkey script that replaces Google’s home page with Rutledge’s pretty “Google Redux” every time you visit. It’s pretty weird loading up Google’s home page to find something completely new and fresh. The script even checks for Google’s fancy holiday logos.

    Download youtube and google videos

One of the frustrating things about websites that use Flash video is
that they rarely provide links to let you download the video files for
offline viewing or transcoding/syncing to portable devices like the Sony PSP, video iPod, or Creative Zen Vision.

Case and point: Google Video and YouTube. Neither of these websites allow you to download the video files. This type of lock-down is soooo Web 1.0.

    Google Video Getter
    YouTube To Me

to install these scripts you will need the Greasemonkey extension for Firefox.
After installing Greasemonkey, relaunch Firefox, then right-click the
links above and select “Install User Script.” Now whenever you browse
to a Google Video or YouTube webpage, you will see a prominent download
    link at the top.

    Apple Trailer Download

Have you ever wanted to down load a movie trailer jusst to see it a gain or show it to your friends or what ever. then you must have tryed to make sence of the giberish in the trailer link when you try to download it..but help is at hand now or on top of every trailer when you install this greasemonkey script.
It Inserts hyperlinks to the full quicktime movies on Apple’s movie trailer pages

    The script does two things:

    1. It inserts a new box below the links to Hight Definition trailer streams with links to the full quicktime movies
    2. It
places a small apple logo at the upper left corner of normal (non HD)
embedded movie trailers, which is also linked to the full quicktime
      movie of the trailer

There are three kind of trailer pages on apple.com. Make sure to check the screenshots to see how this userscript works:
